Adventist Students on Campus (ASC)
We are a network of students across the various campuses of the University of Wolverhampton who love God and seek to live by the principles of the Bible. We have a weekly Friday get-together meeting for Adventist students as well as students without religious backgrounds.
In our get-together meetings, students get to meet other like-minded students, make friends and socialise whilst engaging in meaningful interactive discussions, religious study or health presentation.
We also organise periodic health, social and religious events across the campuses where we invite a guest speaker to present on a selected theme or topic.
We understand that while student life can be fun, adventurous and liberating, it can sometimes bring loneliness, despair and challenges. Through friendship, fellowship, events and discussions we have successfully created an atmosphere of a home away from home for our society members and visiting friends.
Therefore our aims are as follows:
- To integrate faith and learning for students and staff with religious backgrounds.
- To offer spiritual, social and recreational support to religious and non-religious students on campus.
- To provide a platform for students to meet and form great friendships.
Our weekly get-together meetings take place on Fridays at 7-8pm at The Chaplaincy Centre (situated between Randall Lines and MX Building on City Campus) Wolverhampton, WV1 1AD.
We would like you to join us in our weekly Friday meetings packed with free refreshments and lots of good times. You’ll be pleased to know that we don’t charge a penny to join our society J. Membership is FREE and open to everyone!!!
