Societies

The Punjabi society aims to bring together the Punjabi community and those who want to learn about Punjabi culture. As university can be a difficult place, we are hoping to hold fun and exciting events so that people have the opportunity to make friends with common interests and experiences.

Aims and objectives:

• Bring together the Punjabi community.
• Learn about Punjabi culture and history.
• Have Punjabi representation at the university.
• Teach non-Punjabis about Punjabi culture.
• Connecting with other societies associated with Punjabi culture (within UoW and with other universities in the area).
