Initiatives for Regional and International Development (IRID) Students' Society

Overview

The Initiatives for Regional and International Development (Student) is a society aimed at developing the capacity of members to become change agents first within the University, in the UK and Internationally. The group was formed in 2018 as the student arm of a parent Society which is based in the Society.  
 

Objectives

  1. Helping students to develop skills and competence to become change agents within their communities
  2. Mentoring students and improve their chance of maximizing their potential within and outside the University
  3. Promotion of health and wellbeing among students and within the community
