Overview

We’ll get you off the couch and running 5k in just nine weeks! We’ll be following the Couch 2 5k programme, which you can download onto your phone. The programme suggests you run 3 times a week and we’re here to help you complete one of these weekly runs.

This is a beginner’s running group, so don’t worry if you’ve never ran before- this is the place to start! Make sure you wear trainers and comfortable clothes. We will meet in the SU reception and then head to West Park. You will be required to fill in a questionnaire about your physical health on your first time joining the group. Please arrive 5 minutes earlier to allow for this. The group is facilitated by Heather, who is a qualified England Athletics run leader.
