Rolling with the Punches, managing stress

Tuesday 21 November 2017, 4:30pm - 6pm
SU Boardroom, Students' Union, City Campus

We all know what it's like to feel stressed, whether that’s to do with your studies, work, home life or a combination. Being under pressure is a normal part of life. It can be a useful drive that helps you to take action, feel more energized and get results. But if you often become overwhelmed by stress, these feelings could start to be a problem for you.

This session is designed to give you a better understanding of what stress is, recognising your own personal causes of stress, symptoms and responses to stress, and build coping strategies which can be used to manage stress more effectively and contribute to your health and wellbeing on a long-term basis.
