Art in itself is extremely therapeutic. The process of making art, whether that it’s writing, painting, singing, dancing, is good for you. In our always-on, always-connected world of TV, social media and everything on-demand, it becomes too easy to spend your whole day consuming information and responding to all that bombard your life. Art offers an outlet and a release from all of that. In these group sessions, art is used as a way to express yourself, relax, unwind and enjoy the process creating.
We will be running weekly therapeutic art sessions as part of Well@Wolves. Keep an eye on the Well@Wolves website for upcoming sessions
Please note; these sessions should not be confused with art therapy- a form of treatment with support from a therapist.
