Postgraduate Language Clinic will help students with resits, dissertations, draft PhD chapters, conference preparation – anything to do with academic writing/English language.
This is a drop-in session (NOT a taught workshop) and takes place on City campus every Thursday 2-5pm, from 15 June to 14 September, in MC229.* No appointment is required – just come along with your questions or a piece of work you would like us to look at. Note: this is not a full proofreading service – we will look at a section of your work, and advise on how you can improve the rest.
From 12 June to 7 July and 28 August to 15 September, the Postgraduate Language Clinic will be staffed by Anastasia Novoselova (anastasia.novoselova@wlv.ac.uk). Between 10 July and 25 August, Cecilia Jones (c.b.jones@wlv.ac.uk) will be in charge.
If you are not free on Thursday afternoons due to work or childcare commitments, Anastasia/Cecilia may be able to see you at another time during the weeks they are available.
*Note: the 13 July session will be in MU507. The 20 July session has moved to 21 July 2-5pm in MC229.
