Who are the Advice and Support Centre?

Who We Are

The Advice and Support Centre (ASC) offers professional, independent, free and confidential advice and representation.  

We are independent from the University. This means we can represent you in your dealings with the University without any conflict of interest

All enquiries are dealt with the strictest confidence. This means that we will not tell anyone you have been to see us, or disclose anything that you have told us, unless you have given us permission to do so.

In order to be as accessible as possible to all students, regardless of where you are in the World, our advice can reached in a variety of ways;

Come in to speak to someone in person (subject to availability) at the Students' Union, Ambika Paul (MD) Building, City Campus during the week, all year round. Drop ins are usually kept to an initial 10 minutes with a follow-up appointment being made, if necessary.
Guarantee an adviser will be available by calling 01902 322038 to book an appointment in advance.
