Paid Employment

The Workplace, based in MD Building on City Campus, advertises full-time graduate job opportunities.

You can register with the University’s Jobs and Events system at www.wolverhampton.prospects.ac.uk.  When you have registered, you can browse the site for jobs and do advanced searches for the kinds of work you are looking for.  Once you have registered, you will receive details of vacancies via email.

Recent Graduates (within 2 years) of the University of Wolverhampton can apply for Internal as well as External positions advertised within the University at www.wlv.ac.uk/work-here

Keep an eye out for recruitment fayres which are often advertised in the national press as well as around the University and Students’ Union and of course the University Careers & Employment Centre.

If you live locally, check the Evening Mail and Express and Star, which advertise jobs every Thursday.  The National Press advertises jobs in different sectors on different days of the week.

Your local Job Centre advertises local and national jobs.  See the section on benefits later in this booklet for addresses and contact details of Job Centres in Wolverhampton, Telford and Walsall.  You can also use the Job Centre job search on line at www.gov.uk/contact-jobcentre-plus  or telephone Jobs Direct on  0845 6060234.
