Snap It Off

Don't you just hate it when lights are left on when there's absolutely no need for it? We certainly do! But, luckily for us, we've discovered a way of doing something about it. And you can get on board too!
The Snap It Off campaign encourages students to take photos of situations where energy is being wasted through inappropriate and unnecessary use of lights. For example where lights are being used in sunny places or in unused areas.
Students send in photos (predominantly taken on campus) to NUS, by texting 07725 20 20 20, or submitting them via http://snapitoff.nus.org.uk/latest/ . NUS will then publish these images and notify the people in estates at the University about the issue.
The idea is that those in charge of lighting at the University will do something about it, therefore reducing the amount of energy the University wastes on unnecessary or inappropriate use of lighting.
So don't just silently seeth, send your pics in to Snap It Off and get something done about it!
