Recognition for your Volunteering

Volunteering Certificate

The certificate acknowledges the importance of volunteering and recognises the achievements and transferable skills developed which will enhance your employability.
It covers all volunteering carried out, whether you are completing just a few hours of volunteering or you are a long-term volunteer who commits a large proportion of your time to helping others.
You will automatically be registered for the volunteering certificate when you create a volunteer profile. It will also be acknowledged on your student record when you graduate – something to impress future employers with alongside your academic achievements.

Volunteer of the Year Award / Volunteer Mentor of the Year Award

The annual volunteering awards celebrate the achievements of student volunteers. The awards are for outstanding contribution to the community through volunteering and recognise the commitment and achievements of our most dedicated students. To be eligible to apply or be nominated for either award, you must have logged a minimum of 50 hours of volunteering on your Volunteer Central profile.
