Entertainment

The performers deliver blow-after-blow, right in front of you. No other form of entertainment is this direct, and involves the audience in such an absorbing way. Seen magic on TV? Now see it in front of you…be amazed, and participate!

Bands

The Festivals Experience

Remember, or for the uninitiated imagine, the twilight at the end of a long, hot summer day at Glastonbury; in the midst 50,000 excited and happy people; the sunshine feeling in your stomach accompanied by several pints of beer and a peculiar tasting truffle you bought in the Green Field; the anticipation in the air and the smell of herbal cigarettes; and then your top band bang into their first number. Feels good doesn’t it...

The guys in this band are veterans of the great summer festivals scene and can recreate those same sights, sounds (and occasionally odours) in a venue near you. Trip Switch, Christian Forthright, Quentin Spentlove and Vince Le Magma have been regularly working the beer tents at Glastonbury, Reading, Leeds and the like since 1997 and have constructed their set list around the best of the best that they have seen over the years.

They cover all the great bands that have performed at the big summer festivals over almost 20 years or so. This ranges from James, Happy Mondays & Stone Roses, through the Brit Pop of Oasis, Blur, Pulp etc, and later on Travis and Coldplay; then bang up to date with Snow Patrol, Franz Ferdinand, Kaiser Chiefs and Killers etc. resulting in a set full of hits, albeit with a theme and a feel good factor.

So why not come along to a gig and experience some of that FESTIVALS magic?

Kick up the 80’s

Premier 80’s tribute, Kick Up The 80’s play some of the biggest hits of the 80’s, the band produce authentic recreations of bands such as Wham, Duran Duran,  Madness, Frankie Goes To Hollywood, Soft Cell, Tears For Fears, Spandau Ballet, Culture Club, The Jam and many more.

Kick up the 80’s have previously appeared with 80’s favourites ABC, Go West and Limahl (Kajagoogoo).

With tongue firmly in cheek, “guest appearances” from George Michael, and Bon Jovi add to the party atmosphere of a Kick Up The 80’s show and will keep you dancing all night.

So if you remember New Romantics, Rubic Cubes, Box Jackets, “Frankie Says” t-shirts or are discovering the decade’s music for the first time, then Kick Up The 80’s will have you partying like the 90’s never happened!

DJ

BACK due to popular demand, we have managed to secure your favourite DJ’s for the night!! Yes that’s right, Andeejay and Jimbob are returning in style to give you a night not to be missed!

Come along to see a fantastic light show using stroboscopic lighting and haze and then get jiggy to some of your favourite tunes. You know the drill, Jimbob will be playing House and Dance anthems and Andeejay will be playing cheesy party grooves. Don’t miss it!

Photo opportunity

We will have a professional photographer on the night who will be taking individual and group photographs for a small fee. What perfect keepsake could there be to remember your end of year ball?!
