General Advice
The Students' Union Advice & Support Centre exists to support students independently from the University. We target our services to specifically meet the needs of our students.
We offer a confidential, impartial service embracing both generalist advice and specialist advice work in fields as diverse as housing, international, academic, money and debt counselling.
The Advice & Support Centre also has a wealth of generic information to support students in areas such as health, consumer, employment, legal and personal matters.
The centre is equipped with a computerised information system used in local Citizen Advice Bureaux. We also have local knowledge and information and have national support network.
The centre is committed to making our service accessible and responsive to all students (look out for our advice surgeries on your campus).
The centre continues to improve and develop and, in doing so, welcomes comments, suggestions and ideas for developing further services.
