Academic Advice
The Academic Department of the Students' Union deals with students' academic enquiries and organises student representation across the University.
The Vice President (Academic)
, who is an elected member of the Students' Union Executive, is responsible for highlighting students' opinions at the highest levels across the University. Karl Stringer is the Vice President (Academic) for 2007-2008.
The Vice President (Academic) is supported by the Academic Adviser
. The Academic Adviser, Matt Knight, is a full-time member of staff and normally the first point of contact for students in need of academic advice. He also helps with the coordination of the student representatives across the University.
