Freshers' Volunteers 2008
Do you remember how scary your first week at University was?
We are currently looking for enthusiastic and cheerful people to help first year students settle into University life. Volunteers will be there when students move into halls. From then onwards the Volunteers will be across campus each and every day guiding students to the right place when they are lost, giving out information, or just being a friendly face for new students.
If you think that you are up to the task, please pick up an application form from your nearest Students' Union reception point. All applicants will be invited back for a selection day before the end of the academic year. Successful applicants will be asked to come back to Wolverhampton a few days before freshers' week for training and teamwork exercises.
Would you like to become a Freshers' Volunteer?
Volunteers should be:
- Helpful
- Outgoing
- Smiley
- Fun and friendly
- UoW students for 2008/09
- Experienced in university and student life
- Available for welcome week 2008
- Ready to work hard
