Joining the Students Union
Your NUS Card is a passport to using ALL of the services and facilities of your Union.
You need one to gain entry to the bars, join sports teams, clubs and societies, take part in Union Democracy and it is a nationally recognised symbol of your status as a student.
You now have a choice as to the type of NUS Card you want. You can either choose the NUS Extra Card with all its additional benefits - national, regional and local discounts or the Democracy Card - NO DISCOUNTS
NUS Extra Card will be processed externally and delivered to your chosen campus within 10 working days. You will receive a confirmation of delivery email which you will need to bring along with your University ID Card in order to collect it.
If you prefer a Democracy Card then contact your SU Office - issue times vary.
