Candidate running for Non-Portfolio
Representing the LGBT Community
I’m Jack Whitehouse. I study Fine Art and am running for
Non Portfolio Officer, specifically representing the LGBT
community.
This year I have been part of the Diversity
Committee, campaigned for Donation not Discrimination,
am attending NUS LGBT Conference and am currently
trying to organise events for LGBT History Month.
I also have several contacts with LGBT orientated charities and
organisations such as the Terrence Higgins Trust, Mermaids
and Gender Matters.
MY AIMS :
• CONTINUE TO RUN NATIONAL LGBT CAMPAIGNS ON CAMPUS .
• ATTEND NUS LGBT CONFERENCES AND NETWORKING EVENTS .
• AID THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A TERRENCE HIGGINS TRUST SOCIETY ON CAMPUS .
• RUN LGBT EVENTS ON CAMPUS .
• RAISE AWARENESS’S OF THE LGBT SOCIETY ON CAMPUS.
