Candidate running for Sites and Democracy Vice-President
I have been working as security at the Students Union while for a year and a half I have seen many changes, some good, and some bad. I have also been studying a degree in Business Management at various campuses. I now feel it is time for students to get the high standards they pay for and deserve, as there have been many major issues for students that have gone unnoticed
I would like to
• Ensure that all sites are treated reasonably and fairly
• Ensure and encourage that all sites are represented at union council and on the executive committee.
• Challenge the university to ensure that all of our campuses has a designated union areas, not just a shop, encourage the university to run events at different campuses
• Have their chance to vote in the elections.
• Work alongside other executives, supporting and promoting the work to ensure all sites have representation.
• Give individuals at each campus an opportunity to voice there opinions and concerns in a relaxed atmosphere.
• Work together with societies at each campus to help promote events, fund raising and other such aspects.
• Push to improve and maintain general equipment at each site.
